    Build Something That Lasts

    We are actively seeking fellow non-governmental organisations and foundations that are willing to co-invest in the communities where VFM works. Whether you focus on education, health, economic empowerment, or child welfare, there is meaningful common ground here. We particularly value partners who are interested in sustained, multi-year engagement rather than one-off support — because lasting change in a community is never the result of a single intervention. If your organisation practices or champions Corporate Social Responsibility as a genuine commitment rather than a box to tick, we would love to explore what a shared programme could look like.

  • Highlighted Project: 100 weeks

    The 100 weeks project is all about empowerment. Single mothers and widows receive 1000 Shillings (app. EUR 7) per week for 100 weeks. This allows them to take care of good nutrition for their family, but also to invest in housing, livestock or starting a business. This is not charity. It is an investment in women who are already changing their world.

    Businesses have an extraordinary opportunity to anchor their CSR strategy in tangible, visible impact. VFM welcomes corporate partners who wish to contribute financially to our programmes or support us in kind — whether through materials, equipment, professional services, or expertise. Our volunteer programme connects passionate people with the communities and projects where their knowledge can create real, lasting impact. You do not need to be wealthy or famous to change a child's life. You just need to show up.

  • Highlighted Project: Safe Water

    Only 12% of Rusinga West residents have access to safe drinking water, despite living beside Lake Victoria. Women and children walk up to 2.5 km for water daily. Waterborne diseases are rampant, with child diarrhoea rates at 27%. VFM prioritises WASH interventions to protect health, and strengthen livelihoods.
