• Youth Resource Centre

  • The Victoria Friendly Montessori- VFM Kenya Youth Resource Centre is a flagship initiative dedicated to empowering young people through market-driven vocational training, technical skills development, and entrepreneurship. Established in response to the growing need for practical, employable skills, the Centre provides a supportive learning environment where youth can unlock their potential and build sustainable livelihoods.

Our training programs are designed to equip learners with nationally recognized, competency-based skills that prepare them for employment, self-employment, and lifelong learning. The Centre is committed to promoting inclusion by creating opportunities for young women and men, including those from underserved communities, to access quality technical education and skills training.

We currently offer training in the following areas:

    Dressmaking

    Tailoring

    Hairdressing

    Beauty Therapy

    Computer Operations

    Plumbing and Pipe Fitting

    Gas Welding

    Driving

    Building and Construction

  • In addition to technical training, learners will benefit from entrepreneurship development, digital literacy, life skills, career guidance, mentorship, and workplace readiness programs. Through strategic partnerships with industry, government, and development partners, the Youth Resource Centre strives to bridge the gap between education and employment while fostering innovation, resilience, and economic empowerment.

As we prepare for the official launch of the Centre, we invite aspiring trainees, partners, employers, and supporters to join us in building a future where every young person has the opportunity to acquire valuable skills, secure meaningful employment, and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.
